It’s here! April is National Poetry Month! We are definitely celebrating this month with a lot of events and I’m really looking forward to it. Make sure to check out the events area on my website. The first in-person event is at the Sun Prairie Public Library on April 12 at 6:30 p.m. I'll be talking about the inspiration for my poems and signing books afterwards. I know a lot of folks in Sun Prairie so I hope to see their smiles! On April 13 at 6:30 p.m., we will be doing an Instagram Live with the awesome guys (Jacob and Ian) at Helium Books. I’m excited for this unique event. Set your Instagram alerts on @liminalartistry and hop on to say hi and ask some questions. I’m dying to answer them!
This poem is from The Liminal Space and for me, in April, it’s definitely a time of year for reflection and change. My birthday was this week (it was great!) and I think I always take stock after another trip around the sun.
